Moreover, by using the periodontal ligament of molar from periostin-deficient adult mice (Pn−/− molar PDL), which is a constitutively mechanically stressed tissue, we found that periostin maintained the site-1 cleaved 120-kDa transmembrane domain of Notch1 (N1™) level without regulating Notch1 mRNA expression. N1™ maintenance in vitro was also observed under such a stress condition as heat and H2O2 treatment in periostin overexpressed cells. Furthermore, we found that the expression of a downstream effector of Notch signaling, Bcl-xL was decreased in the Pn−/− molar PDL, and in the molar movement, cell death was enhanced in the pressure side of Pn−/− molar PDL.\n\nConclusion\nThese results suggest the possibility that periostin inhibits cell death through up-regulation of Bcl-xL expression by maintaining the Notch1 protein level under the stress condition, which is caused by its physical association with the Notch1 precursor.","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"}]},"item_10001_publisher_8":{"attribute_name":"出版者","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_publisher":"Public Library of Science"}]},"item_10001_relation_14":{"attribute_name":"DOI","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_relation_name":[{"subitem_relation_name_text":"10.1371/journal.pone.0012234"}],"subitem_relation_type":"isIdenticalTo","subitem_relation_type_id":{"subitem_relation_type_id_text":"https://doi.org/10.1371/journal.pone.0012234 ","subitem_relation_type_select":"DOI"}}]},"item_10001_relation_17":{"attribute_name":"関連サイト","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_relation_name":[{"subitem_relation_name_text":"Copyright"}],"subitem_relation_type_id":{"subitem_relation_type_id_text":"http://www.plos.org/about/open-access/license/","subitem_relation_type_select":"URI"}}]},"item_10001_rights_15":{"attribute_name":"権利","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_rights":"© 2010 Tanabe et al"}]},"item_10001_source_id_9":{"attribute_name":"ISSN","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_source_identifier":"1932-6203","subitem_source_identifier_type":"ISSN"}]},"item_10001_version_type_20":{"attribute_name":"著者版フラグ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_version_resource":"http://purl.org/coar/version/c_970fb48d4fbd8a85","subitem_version_type":"VoR"}]},"item_creator":{"attribute_name":"著者","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"TANABE, Hideyuki"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"368","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"TAKAYAMA, Issei "}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"2066","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"NISHIYAMA, Takashi "}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"2067","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]},{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"et, al."}],"nameIdentifiers":[{"nameIdentifier":"3119","nameIdentifierScheme":"WEKO"}]}]},"item_files":{"attribute_name":"ファイル情報","attribute_type":"file","attribute_value_mlt":[{"accessrole":"open_date","date":[{"dateType":"Available","dateValue":"2013-09-18"}],"displaytype":"simple","filename":"fetchObject.pdf","filesize":[{"value":"633.6 kB"}],"format":"application/pdf","licensetype":"license_11","mimetype":"application/pdf","url":{"label":"fetchObject","url":"https://ir.soken.ac.jp/record/3958/files/fetchObject.pdf"},"version_id":"c3d1b9f4-5571-436b-b1e8-466d131787cd"}]},"item_language":{"attribute_name":"言語","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_language":"eng"}]},"item_resource_type":{"attribute_name":"資源タイプ","attribute_value_mlt":[{"resourcetype":"journal article","resourceuri":"http://purl.org/coar/resource_type/c_6501"}]},"item_title":"Periostin Associates with Notch1 Precursor to Maintain Notch1 Expression under a Stress Condition in Mouse Cells","item_titles":{"attribute_name":"タイトル","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_title":"Periostin Associates with Notch1 Precursor to Maintain Notch1 Expression under a Stress Condition in Mouse Cells"},{"subitem_title":"Periostin Associates with Notch1 Precursor to Maintain Notch1 Expression under a Stress Condition in Mouse Cells","subitem_title_language":"en"}]},"item_type_id":"10001","owner":"21","path":["112","293"],"pubdate":{"attribute_name":"公開日","attribute_value":"2013-09-18"},"publish_date":"2013-09-18","publish_status":"0","recid":"3958","relation_version_is_last":true,"title":["Periostin Associates with Notch1 Precursor to Maintain Notch1 Expression under a Stress Condition in Mouse Cells"],"weko_creator_id":"21","weko_shared_id":21},"updated":"2023-06-20T14:16:17.940476+00:00"}
