{"created":"2023-06-20T13:24:17.776665+00:00","id":5714,"links":{},"metadata":{"_buckets":{"deposit":"228d31b4-de9d-4909-9bdb-e3262b5c6c5d"},"_deposit":{"created_by":24,"id":"5714","owners":[24],"pid":{"revision_id":0,"type":"depid","value":"5714"},"status":"published"},"_oai":{"id":"oai:ir.soken.ac.jp:00005714","sets":["28:43:502"]},"author_link":["10365","10364","10366"],"item_10002_biblio_info_7":{"attribute_name":"書誌情報","attribute_value_mlt":[{"bibliographicIssueDates":{"bibliographicIssueDate":"2018-03-31","bibliographicIssueDateType":"Issued"},"bibliographicIssueNumber":"14","bibliographicPageEnd":"85","bibliographicPageStart":"69","bibliographic_titles":[{"bibliographic_title":"総研大文化科学研究"},{"bibliographic_title":"Sokendai review of cultural and social studies","bibliographic_titleLang":"en"}]}]},"item_10002_creator_23":{"attribute_name":"フリガナ","attribute_type":"creator","attribute_value_mlt":[{"creatorNames":[{"creatorName":"ナカタ, ユカ","creatorNameLang":"ja-Kana"}],"nameIdentifiers":[{}]}]},"item_10002_description_19":{"attribute_name":"フォーマット","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"application/pdf","subitem_description_type":"Other"}]},"item_10002_description_5":{"attribute_name":"抄録","attribute_value_mlt":[{"subitem_description":"本稿は、天明四（一七八四）年に中興された山城国葛野郡川勝寺村の長福寺という尼寺を事例に、尼寺の成立背景と尼僧の存在形態を明らかにするものである。長福寺は、桃園天皇の中宮恭礼門院との間に生まれた第二皇子貞行親王の菩提供養のために中興され、現在は真言宗泉涌寺派に属している。長福寺には、尼僧の仏道修行のあり様や日常生活の動向が如実にわかる日記が残されており、これは中興の八年前から書き始められた稀有な史料である。また、その他には寺の縁起や書状類もあり、尼寺・尼僧に関連する史料がこれほど残存しているのは比較的珍しい事例だと考える。しかし、それらの史料は今まで活用されてこなかった。したがって本稿では、長福寺の史料を素材に、第一章で長福寺中興の背景や皇族との関係を追究した。第二章では、長福寺の日記を分析し、中興以前の安永五～九（七七六―八〇）年における尼僧の実態や僧侶との関係を考察した。第三章では、中興前後にあたる天明三・四（一七八三―四）年の時期を対象に、長福寺に住む尼僧の活動や僧侶との関係に注目しつつ、中興以前の尼僧の実態と比較し、その変化について検討した。各章で得た成果を整理すると、次のようになる。\n\n長福寺の日記や縁起などによると、貞行親王を弔うために、真言宗の高僧・慈雲の助言で「尼僧坊」として中興された尼寺であることが判明した。長福寺の本堂落慶法要においては、費用は全て恭礼門院が援助しており、また桃園天皇生母開明門院は長福寺へ参詣して香典金二〇〇疋を納めており、皇族の女性が長福寺の経済的支援をしていたことが明らかとなった。中興後は、毎年皇族から寄附物を下賜され、幕末頃に寺の維持が困難になった際は、孝明天皇の叡慮により下賜金が増やされたという。このように、皇族と関係を有する長福寺において、一世を除いた歴代住職は公家・華族出身の女性がつとめており、高貴な身分の女性しか長福寺の住職になる資格がなかったと思われる。\n\n中興以前の日記には、尼僧は尼寺を持たずとも、日記の書き手となる数名の尼僧の私庵に集まり、慈雲一派から講義や説法を受けていたという記録があった。長福寺の再建が始まると同時に尼僧たちは移り住み、天明三年になると長福寺では尼僧が講師や導師をつとめるようになっていた。ただし、それは「上座衆」と呼ばれる住職一世を含めた三人の尼僧だけが行えることであり、尼僧の階位によって長福寺内で序列化がみられた。\n\n慈雲一派と尼僧との関係性について、中興以前より夏安居と冬安居の始終に慈雲一派から、尼僧が僧に対して守るべき八つの規則である八敬法を説かれていた。すなわち、慈雲の教団内では、尼僧は僧に従する存在であったと思われる。一方で、慈雲とその弟子僧は尼僧へ講釈や受戒をし、尼僧の養成を熱心に行っていたことが明らかになった。\n\n近世の尼寺と尼僧に関する研究では、天皇家・摂関家・将軍家などの貴種の女性たちが入寺する比丘尼御所を対象に進められ、長福寺のような地域社会に所在する尼寺はほとんど取り上げられることがなかった。本稿は、比丘尼御所以外の尼寺と尼僧の実態を解明した基礎的研究の一つとなりうるだろう。\n\n","subitem_description_type":"Abstract"},{"subitem_description":"This paper aims to shed light on the founding of Buddhist convents in Japan and the actual situation of the nuns who lived there through a case study of the Kyoto convent Chōfukuji. Chōfukuji was reconstructed in the eighteenth century in order to hold memorial Buddhist services for Prince Sadamoti, and for generations thereafter was headed by women from aristocratic families. Studies in the past have mostly highlighted imperial convents called amamonzeki, but I am concentrating my research on ordinary Buddhist convents and nuns.
