 note = {25711025, application/pdf, 2013～2017, 研究成果の概要（和文）：哺乳類の社会において、個体は異なる社会的階段、繁殖、生活史（年齢、出生群からの移出入）のステージを経る。その一連の過程は、社会的変遷（social trajectory）と呼ばれ、個体の異質性（individual heterogeneity）を形成する要因であるのみならず、個体より上位の社会的・生態学的現象に影響する要因である。本研究では、哺乳類の社会性・社会行動を、個体の異質性を考慮して分析し、新たな社会生態学的特徴を検出することを目的とした。複数種を対象にした野外調査、行動観察、生理的測定、系統種間比較を行い、適応論的予測に合致する発見を行った。

研究成果の概要（英文）：In this project, I analyzed sociality of group-living mammals from a standpoint of individual heterogeneity. Particularly I focused on individual heterogeneity caused by a within-individual process of social trajectory (i.e., transition among life history stages including age, natal dispersal, reproduction, dominance rank,　and so on). I employed multiple methods including fieldwork, behavioral observation, physiological measurements, phylogenetic comparative analyses on multiple species of mammals, and found results that fit predictions from adaptive theories.},
